The State should pick it up and any insurance that’s paid should be subrogated to them.

It wasn’t actually the hospital, it was state law that forced the hospital to act that way, as far as I can read it.

Munoz shouldn’t have to pay a dime over the initial diagnosis of brain death. In fact, the hospital should forgive him for the entire thing.

I wouldn’t pay it, not one dime. Somebody else can eat it.
