They have a right (for now) but they needed a show a little common sense and recognize how likely it was that they would bring backlash upon their heads, and upon the rest of us.

People were threatened by Colin Kaepernick not standing for the national anthem. The people you’re talking about see anything by racial minority groups as a threat to them.
