While I applaud Senator Gillibrand’s commentary about Trump needing to resign because of the sexual harassment allegations raised against him, that will never happen. I wish she had been a bit more circumspect when dealing with Senator Franken.

I’d felt the same way, though now I wonder if there was a method to the madness beyond a rigid adherence to “zero tolerance” (that is, she went after Franken first to bolster and add credibility to a subsequent push for Cheeto Benito’s resignation. Of course it will never work, but perhaps she thought it would shift the MSM narrative…)
