My sister got a weird one the other day. A young, male voice saying, “Hi Grandma, I need your help. I’m in (another state) and…”

As her only grandson is 14 and she knew he wasn’t in any other state, she simply said, yeah, ok, click. But it was sort of freaky.

Yep, that’s another variation of the old “preying on the elderly” scams. I’m sure the “Grandson” wanted Grandma to Western Union him some money to bail him out. Same old pig, new lipstick.
