“Police are calling it a hate crime…” If police are calling it a hate crime and it looks like a hate crime, it’s a hate crime. Similarly, if someone were caught on tape dumping toxic sludge into a lake and Scott Pruitt were to call it illegal dumping, it would be illegal dumping.

There are cases where there might be other motivations in play, I almost hope it is a case of PTSD/psychosis/dementia on his part and not just all piss and vinegar
