My family comes from the Marches. We’re so totally both English and Welsh it’s hard to sort it further. And the part of Wales that’s near was conquered by the Normans quite early. Shrug. Over 800 years later, it’s hard to be too worried about it.

Yeah I’m just ribbing. My Dad’s DNA update has us in the heart of the Gaeltacht. Wouldn’t be surprised if I have cousins that speak Irish.
