As I’ve said before the problem is that the whole idea of a prisoner of conscience is stupid.

It means “someone who is unjustly imprisoned who doesn’t offend quakers”.

Who gives a shit about the”offend quakers” bit. Amnesty should be defending the unjustly imprisoned, not trying to judge their “purity”.
