A horse is probably the best anti-zombie weapon. Feel free to bring along a ball-and-chain if you want to get fancy, but really a well-trained stomping horse would be great.

Well-trained stomping horses are few and fare between these days, though.

Most animals are unsettled by the restless dead. Unless you have one trained to fight zombies, it would be risky.
