The best argument I heard was from a guy who talked Orrin Hatch into supporting stem cell research….

“Are twins one person or two? Do they have one soul or two? Well, identical twins come from an embryo split that happens about 5 days on, so ensoulment must be after that, right? Stem cell research is on embryos less than that, they haven’t gotten their souls yet.”
