A libertarian friend asked why lefties aren’t as hostile to the government as we are big business. I understand that line of questioning. However, I think the reason why at least for me with the government is there is accountability with the government that does not exist in corporate America i.e. we can vote our elected officials out, we can protest them and their actions, etc. And frankly I’m just as hostile to big government when it comes to things like limiting a woman’s right to choose, ability to emigrate, the right to put what you want in your body, etc.
