It is not only a multi-billion-dollar industry, it occupies a place in the Mythology of What Makes America Great.

So little to no chance of that happening until enough parents wise up and refuse to let their children participate.

As its been said, they own a day of the week. That it also haapens to be the sabbath for the largest religion in this country isn’t a coincidence. So, no, that wont change easily. And, as long as it’s a way for a hard working kid to make a lot of money, there will be volunteers.
