It’s true that the GOP has hated the CFPB since before Eve ate the apple. The GOP war on consumers will continue until morale improves.
Got into it yesterday with a writer from the Weekly Standard who ran the usual piece about how the CFPB was “a runaway agency, out of control bureaucracy, etc”. The same flimflam conservatives have been writing for decades about any federal efforts to help consumers and remedy the balance of power between corporations and individuals.
Where, come to think of it, is Bernie in all this?
