Even if Democrats wanted to repeal the II Amendment, it would be an utter disaster if you could do it.

All that would do is reserve gun law to all the states with no federal oversight whatsoever.

They only way to repeal 2A would be to pass a new amendment, which would affect the states. If the amendment banned all guns period, it would apply to the states as well.
