Late to the party as usual…hope someone can help me with my question!

Unbelievable musical excellence, transcending many of my formidable years…!

OK - I’ve read this entire thread - and I have a very dumb question to ask -

While I realize that Donald and Walter would often gather exceptional musicians to coalesce in the studio and record amazing musical masterpieces, why didn’t Walter Becker play the guitar solo? Wasn’t that he, in the video, next to the soloist?

Walter Becker plays solos on lots of stuff, but I can’t imagine being on stage with Jon Herrington and not having him play solos, too…you know?
