Bullshit. The Republican party has some crazies in it, but it still has many sane people. And even the crazies still aren’t within five miles of the crazy that is the Birchers.

I wish that were true. But by remaining silent, the “sane people” allow the crazies to run the show.

The wingnuts could not keep Romney off the ballot, but if he is elected, they will tie his hands so thoroughly that he has to give into them on every issue to accomplish anything.

They equivocate obstructionism with “ideological purity”.
