I just wish Nixon and those like her would just start at the ground and move up. There’s an arrogance that many celebs turned politicians have that really bug me. It’s easy to shit on so called career politicians but nearly all of them work their way from the lower levels up.

There was talk of Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) running for elected office.

And you know what? I have no problem with that. He can start with his local City Council, or even Mayor, and work his way up. He seems like an affable enough fellow, to be honest, and thus far, I haven’t heard anything scandalous about him and he doesn’t strike me as an unintelligent fellow.
