“desks” rhymes with “masks”.
Only Bobby can get away with a rhyme like that. If it don’t fit, just get a bigger poetry hammer and bend that sucker into place.
My absolute fave of his was
“…he felt the heat of the night hit him like a freight/
train, rollin on through a simple twist of fate.”
