Yes, but men have a biological incentive to father a bunch of children wherever they can, perhaps investing in raising a few of them. Women on the other hand have a much more limited reproductive capacity and have to choose the father(s) carefully. On the other hand, women do know for a fact they are a given child’s parent. Men, not so much.

True, I was talking about courtship though. A lot of guys I kow on the spectrum just obsesess over how “easy” women have it in dating and I just think that’s a lot of bs especially since as I said women have a lot more pressures about looks. But we could also agree that both genders face their own unique pressures. You’re right about that biological incentive. Having a niece has actualy made me want to be a father.
