It’s no surprise Chicago has such a big-arse turnout-in addition to the universities, tech and Big Pharma firms based there, Chicagoland is home to Argonne National Laboratory and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.

Argonne and Fermi do some real hardcore base and applied shit there. As a matter of fact, DPS 2017 will be held at Fermilab in honor of their 50th anniversary.
