That’s not really how it generally works for people around him. They don’t tell him the truth.

I’d bet something coming up on another front is troubling him. Usually when he goes after the media they’ve already reached out to his crew so they can go on record or not before they push forth with the story.

Maybe we’ve arrived at the part of the story where the media turn their attention to Princess Evita…

If anything would completely unhinge him, that would do it.
