Right, that would be my preference. I like Joe but he wouldn’t be among my first choices. If he were the nominee? Of course, I’d vote and campaign for him enthusiastically. I like the guy but I think we have better options.

I love Joe but he’s too old. We need someone young and dynamic to contrast with either Trump or Pence or Ryan (or whoever may actually be running on the GOP side — a lot will happen between now and 2020).
