So, let me get this straight. Taxes will go up on the wealthy, and the tax cuts for the middle classes will remain in effect. And this is bad for most Americans how? The way the RWNJs are ranting, you’d think Congress had just passed a 90% tax rate on everyone.

The temporary cut in payroll tax ended however I think. So there will be a tax effect on everyone.

Things are still a mess since I think the “compromise” skipped a number of items that still need to be addressed. Not to mention the need for a longer term fix since our current tax system is becoming more of a mess and we have a dysfunctional legislative system currently that is not interested in the necessary cooperative governance.

Sort of like turning over your household budget and financing control to a couple of 10-year-old children with emotional control issues and a competitive dislike for each other.
