I mean I’ll concede the Nazis used leftist/populist rhetoric but then I would add that the Nazis purged much of the party’s “left wing” in the Night of Long Knives and you can’t really call Nazi “leftists” like Rohm, the Stresser brothers, and others lefties anyhow since they didn’t want social equality for all people of Germany, they wanted it for all “Aryans.” The other funny thing is Anti-Semitism being made out to be something uniquely left wing when in reality, Anti-Semitism was the bread and butter of the right for years from France in the Dreyfus Affair to Russia with the pogroms.
