Just a thought…

My understanding of what the US pullout from the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) means.

1. It directly threatens Europe, ie NATO Allies, with Russian nuclear power, while decoupling that threat from being also against the US.

2. Trump has essentially said that he is withdrawing the US pledge to defend Europe with our US nuclear umbrella. This means that Europe is even more vulnerable.

3. Russia is also supplying Europe with much of its winter heating natural gas.

4. Putin is effectively neutralizing our three generation alliance with Europe. Aka NATO.

5. Look for a further destabilizing of Europe and more of their governments going to right-wing authoritarian. If the Germans go that way, our position in Europe may be completely compromised.
