Working in Miami a few years ago, sometimes for fun I would ask a Cuban, a Puerto Rican and an Argentinian to translate some advertising copy. The arguments usually lasted all afternoon.

If you get tired of it and want them to reach consensus, throw in a Colombian (who are widely, if grudingly, acknowledged as having the “best” American Spanish, whatever that means).
