Yes, but neither the Guardian nor the LA Times mentioned partisan politics in their story and for good reason:

Once a group of anti-vaxxers is called out as “fundies” or “hippies”, others on the right or left (respectively) tend to react by circling the wagons around those of their faction who are under attack. Facts don’t enter into the decisions of people to do this; protecting others of your family/tribe/faction is to a great degree instinctive.

So its best to either not apply party labels when talking about anti-vaxxers, or keep a close left/right balance so that mainstream Democrats and Republicans don’t feel they’re being attacked.
