Thanks, you guys! I knew I would get good advice here. My mom will still use her iPhone 6 for most of her pictures. But on occasion she wants to be able to get shots she just can’t get with it. She told me there is a shot of two trees with a mountain in the back near where she lives that she can never get right with the iPhone - not enough depth of focus I am guessing? She wants to be able to take pictures of the moon that aren’t just a blur. She wants to be able to do super close ups once in a while. That is why I am thinking different lenses would be

The iPhone is much better than the point-and-shoot cameras she used to have, but maybe they have gotten much better in the last few years?
