Someone needs to ask Katie why anyone needs to pay for her Social Security benefits when she retires, or why someone should pay property taxes so her kids can go to school (assuming she has kids in school).

Setting aside public monies, someone should tell her that employers offer benefits to employees to attract and retain them — child care being one of them among very generous firms.
