Any idea why videos in embedded tweets won’t play in Firefox and you have to open the original tweet in a new tab? Everywhere but here, that is, where you give us the little “shprockets” icon at the bottom.

I can’t really say — the code that displays videos in embedded tweets is completely under Twitter’s control. The “shadow DOM” is a protected sandbox that the parent web page can’t affect in any way.
