1968 Nixon was EPA, OSHA, Title IX, Title X
1968 Democrats was Richard J Daley and George Wallace.

I won’t apologize that it took me until Reagan to start backing away from the R’s.

Yeah I get that. I think that Reagan was the R’s point of no return. Nixon was an asshole but policy wise quite good in many places. Ford wasn’t so bad either. Gave us Justice Stevens.
