Late to the argument, but my main concern here is why was the charge child endangerment?

I dislike the precedent that exposure to something that the parents don’t want their children to see (rightly or wrongly) brings about grounds for an argument of emotional harm and therefore a charge of child endangerment.

I’d be ok* with it if it were a charge of indecent exposure.
