Why is asking them to resign when they are going to be replaced by other Democrats if they do, so abhorrent to you? And what I find abhorrent isn’t so much what you said, but rather the people saying Trump is the standard of behavior, so until Trump resigns no Democratic sexual predator should.

First, Trump *is* the standard of behavior. Not the model, the standard. He was elected with these allegations known and discussed. That proves both your point about serial sexual predators as well as disproves your view of the voting public (which, I have to point out, are contradictory). Almost 50% of the voting public thought it was a good idea to vote for an admitted sexual predator. That’s the standard now.

Second, I already said multiple times why I think resigning immediately is a bad call. You’ve not actually explained why you lack nuance and cannot consider any other option for any offense rather than immediate resignation.
