Yeah I’m just ribbing. My Dad’s DNA update has us in the heart of the Gaeltacht. Wouldn’t be surprised if I have cousins that speak Irish.

DNA is a very limited tool in my mind. People are quite fascinated with right now but the only times it says something really interesting is when it shows things like daddy isn’t really daddy (I’m waiting for that bombshell to burst in a family I know - the last born was fathered by a different man and he’s not smart enough to notice.)

Culture is a more valuable tool to understanding how people think of themselves and others.
