There are jobs at stake, but that is a separate issue to be addressed. And AFAIK, most cruise lines use cheap third-country labor for most positions.

Foreign-flagged vessels can seek help from those countries. Too bad about their flags of inconvenience to avoid US maritime and labour laws and taxes.

I’m sure Liberia or Belize is willing to bail out Princess and Disney.

There is exactly one US flagged cruise ship. If businesses are bailed out, give that one money.
