Since Kim Davis was jailed for Contempt, I’ve seen a couple wingnuts trying to argue that she’s the only one following the law, because the SCOTUS ruling is just a ruling, and it requires an act of Congress to make it into a law, and that until that happens, the ban on Same Sex Marriage in KY is the prevailing law.

Talk about clinging! I explained that, in finding any legal impediment to marriage equality unconstitutional, those laws all cease to exist - POOF! Gone! - so that, no, the KY law no longer exists at all.
