So basically Netflix is doing with Mythbusters what Amazon is doing with Top Gear, creating a new series that is basically the original with the serial number filed off.

In either case, I don’t have a problem with it at all because, in both instances, the respective groups and their chemistry and camaraderie are a big part of what made both of their former shows great, IMO.

At least MythBusters is off the air now and the Build Team was off of it when Discovery and Beyond drove it into the ground its last season; Top Gear, Matt LeBlanc’s yeoman’s job aside, is a shambling corpse.
