Everyone remembers that the EPA was trying to deal with mining wastes left by a mining company. The dam holding back the pollutants was breached by EPA workers in error, and it caused significant contamination.

It was accidental, but the GOP thought that reason enough to attack the EPA. Of course, they’ll attack the agency for simply existing, and today they decided to roll back regulations reducing coal mining pollutants of waterways.

You know, the kind of waterways that the GOP was just bitching the EPA polluted by their error in handling wastes that a mining company dumped.

Yeah, they’re hypocrites. It’s who they are and what they do. It’s all they have done last 30 years, but now they’re pushing the limits of credulity because there’s no one to stop them in government.

So, to all those miners who thought Trump would help them, here, have this glass of water from downstream from the mine you work at. Don’t worry. You won’t die from the contaminants in that water. You’re much more likely to die from the black lung you contracted because the GOP will soon get busy rolling back mining safety protections too. You know, jobs and corporate profits. Just not your job, and not your profits. Just the burdens.

the real probelm waz that the pollootetnz all got released at once. If the EPA wold’ve got out of the way from the beginning it’d just be little bits that you won’t ever notice

At least until your kid is born with four eyes and two mouths.
