This feels like an opening in Alabama:

But plenty of Alabamans were happy to talk about Moore. In their telling, the race is the political equivalent of the shrug emoji ― potential voters are throwing their hands in the air in some combination of disgust, befuddlement and bemusement.

Sadly, I think plenty of Republicans will still vote for Moore because of the R after his name. But one can be hopeful, maybe Moore’s ineptitude will result in Republicans staying home?
