What I’ve never understood about any of this, is that Republicans really have no reason to be loyal to Trump. The vast majority of the Trump base would end up voting for whoever the GOP nominee was. Trump’s not a life long Republican, he wasn’t a big donor, and he’s not done anything to help any Republican get elected (other than himself).

So why the fuck do they remain loyal to him?

There’s kompromat and Putin gave it to trump. Trump is a mobster going waaaaayyyy back. This is old hat for a mobster.
