If I were a Trump staffer, at this point I’d be asking (loudly and often) what the point of going forward with debates is after this week. Before tonight, you could possibly make the argument that comparing Trump as “virile and competent” against Biden as “senile and incompetent” could be enough to swing a few crucial districts on Election Night.

After tonight? HA! Donny insisted upon sitting down for his entire “town hall” session and lied out his ass so hard that he was in danger of blowing his o-ring. Versus Biden tonight who stood the entire time, answered questions with competency, and even respected a voter when it was pointed out that he’d interrupted their question.

What is a debate that Trump is making no effort to prepare for and thinks he can repeat tonight’s performance at going to do but further the impression that he is the one who is too old and lost to be trusted with the nuclear codes?
