This bill should be passed… there should be no doubt in any conservatives mind that the Obama administration has not “created” enough jobs or helped improve the availability of jobs in this country. Since that’s a given, then it’s actually cruel to play politics with people lives just to make this point.

Agreed. First the GOP demanded the bill’s spending be shaved down, then they demanded it be paid for. Now, out of a bill that was roughly $200+ billion, it’s now down to half that, with only $30 billion not paid for in some form or fashion. This isn’t the time to be playing politics with people’s lives, especially when you’ve got thousands in the Gulf who will be waiting months or years for that check from BP to come while being out of work.
