God, what a moron. Income taxes on wages have existed since the Civil War. The 16th Amendment was created to make it constitutional to levy taxes on interest, dividends, and rent income in a non-proportional manner. In other words, no dipshit, Americans in 1912 were still paying taxes on what they earned.
