The problem is the obsessing. This story isn’t going away, even though people around here would like it to. Clinton’s biggest problem in polls is the way people think she isn’t trustworthy. This is tailor made to reinforce that impression.
I said before that I don’t think she was up to anything evil, or illegal. I argued that it was a stupid thing to do and I gave reasons for reaching that conclusion. Nobody has yet refuted those arguments. (Unless accusing me of parroting right wing talking points is somehow an argument)

People still believe that Obama is originally from Kenya and listed himself as a foreign student on his college transcripts, even though he has released two forms of his birth certificate. And yes, I’ve heard people in my life repeat this belief and I’ve tried to correct them on it. Am I to conclude that Obama didn’t do enough to make the matter go away?
