Zigs., take Klys advice and extend Evangelicals the same treatment you’d want as an American Muslim. Yes Evangelicals do tend to view Muslims like yourself and skeptics like myself with nastiness but please look at people as individuals. A lot of African American civil rights activists past and present are from Evangelical churches.

Trust and respect are earned, not demanded. Since Evangelical churches are awash in warfare imagery (“spiritual warfare,” warlike hymns, condemning from the pulpit anyone not like them, will not expel members who advance those things, &c &c &c), nope not from me. Too much experience in my life to convince me of anything other than they want me to convert, or die.
