I was only willing to watch “Get Out” after learning enough to realize that it wasn’t a true horror movie, especially after Golden Globes treated it as a comedy. This, however, looks different — way too frightening for me.

I’m with you.

Even “Get Out”, which I was willing to watch for the same reasons you cite… I could only watch 20 minutes at a time, with silly sitcoms between segments.
