And it’s really only a narrative that their Fox News-obsessed base is going to buy into. Despite the best efforts of the BSAB corporate press, the worst they can say is that impeachment poll numbers have remained steady around 50%. That means that more people in America feel Trump deserves to be impeached than did Clinton or Nixon. There’s no good way to spin that number in Trump’s favor, so they’re left trying to push the “process” argument in the hopes that people will buy that impeachment should follow a certain process…that only Repubs have any control over.
