I hope so. That’s one of the things that’s keeping us apart for the holidays. That we can see the end (we hope.)

Of course, there is the issue of who gets the vaccine and when.
But, I’d like to think that once people start getting vaccinated, rates of infection will drop. That will probably just mean people quit caring whether or not they’ve been vaccinated and spread it far and wide.
Mr. C. and I are both over 65 so we’d presumably be given it fairly early on, and that will let us visit without too much worry about catching it (and wearing masks, of course.)

According to my daughter, Contra Costa County Regional Hosp. is swimming in Covid. And the reason we’ve moved ourselves from an outdoor dinner for 8 to Zoom is because of people like the new mom who kept going to the nursery with her mask below her nose. They’d tell her to pull it up and she would until they weren’t looking and then pull it back down. She was Covid positive and knew it.
