By the way, we are now finding out that when Obama kept saying “Change” during the campaign, what he really meant was he was going to confiscate everything from you but the change in your pocket.

Since we are going to relive the Carter years now, it’s probably time to start tracking the “Misery Index”., which is the sum of inflation and unemployment.

Unemployment is stated to be a 7.6% right now and inflation for 2008 was stated to be at 3.85 nationwide.

Therefore, the current Misery Index is about 11.45.

By the way, the market is now down about 14% since the Messiah was sworn in.
