Um. GWB wasn’t one of the Republicans who supported that line - not even the democrats argued that Bush wasn’t a pathway realist.

This ugliness could have been prevented if the GOP in Congress had allowed GWB to do something reasonable on immigration… but nope - GWB wasn’t one of the people who supported that line of schoolbusses nose to tail from san antonio to anchorage.

For hyperbole to work it has to have the ring of truth.

That would be 638,000 buses. 36 pax. per bus.
