It is the use of the word “we” in this type of argument (not criticizing you) that is the deceptive part.

“We” are good, “they” are bad. Needless to say, “they” call themselves “we” also.

“We” is not inherently either good or bad. The outcome of the revolution makes its short-to-mid-term morality. Then it falls to the historians.
